Dr. Peter Juergens

Dr. Peter Juergens, a native of Carroll, IA, received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2015 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors and was a recipient of the Presidential Academic Excellence Award. While at Palmer he served as President of his class and was nominated for the Prestigious Clinical Excellence Award and Vogt leadership society.

Dr. Juergens received his bachelor degree from Loras College, and then joined the family feed business. After 8 great years of serving the Carroll community with many services offered by the family feed business, Dr. Juergens decided to pursue his dream of a career in the health services and to become a Chiropractor.

Dr. Juergens has educated and treated thousands of patients utilizing the principles of mind/body wellness. Dr. Juergens sees patients for pre-natal, pediatric and family wellness care. He practices traditional chiropractic methodology as well as several complementary techniques. Dr. Juergens is advanced proficient with Activator Methods and active with the B.E.S.T. technique.

Dr. Juergens also received advanced training in Pre-natal and pediatric care and is certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the Webster Technique. Dr. Juergens is also recognized for improving injury treatment and rehabilitation as a preferred provider in Graston Technique. Dr. Juergens also has training in a couple new techniques not used by many other Chiropractors in Western Iowa.

First new technique: K.S.T (Koren Specific Technique) a low force technique that allows the patient to be in the posture that causes them the most discomfort. With this technique he can adjust the patient in the standing and seated position giving the patient care without having to lie down.

Second new technique: C.A.T.S (Cranial Adjusting Turner Style) The C.A.T.S. method has helped people of all ages suffering from headaches and head injuries. The new cranial adjustment technique has helped special needs children with learning disorders and brain injuries as well as many patients experiencing symptoms from concussion and post-concussion syndrome. Lastly: Dr. Juergens has been certified in Acupuncture through the International Academy of Chiropractic Acupuncture. Using needles or needle less he can treat a variety of health conditions.

Dr. Juergens is a member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society. When not in the office seeing patients, Dr. Juergens enjoys spending time outdoors, fitness and of course spending time with family and friends.
